DBGEM’s Juvenile Diversion and Empowerment Program (JDEP) is a structured, strengths-based alternative to traditional juvenile justice intervention that helps young men redirect their lives, build character, and prepare for productive futures. Designed to reduce recidivism and promote accountability, JDEP combines mentoring, academic support, career exposure, and life-skills development to address the root causes of risky behavior while equipping participants with practical tools for success.
Through individualized guidance, workforce readiness training, educational enrichment, and hands-on career exploration, participants gain the confidence, discipline, and direction needed to make positive life choices. The program also strengthens family engagement and community connection, creating a supportive environment that reinforces long-term growth and stability.
